We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager to lead driver supply and fleet operations in the local market. The successful candidate will oversee driver-demand balance, build strategic partnerships, and optimize fleet performance through data-driven insights. This role drives key initiatives—from recruitment and retention programs to competitive market analysis—while collaborating cross-functionally with HQ and local teams on campaigns and operational improvements. With a hands-on approach, the position includes field work for offline initiatives and supports expansion through domestic travel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage driver supply in the local market to ensure a healthy balance between demand and availability
  • Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships to strengthen driver engagement, retention, and market positioning¡
  • Lead fleet-related projects, including expansion planning, operational optimization, and exclusivity programs¡
  • Analyze driver app usage and performance to generate insights that support product enhancements and operational improvements
  • Collaborate with HQ teams to execute local digital campaigns, acquisition strategies, and incentive programs
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve driver retention, streamline recruitment efforts, and enhance the registration process
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to proactively adjust local strategies
  • Manage and mentor a direct report in a supervisor role to ensure daily operational excellence and cross-team collaboration
  • Leverage data to monitor market performance, track key metrics, and support data-driven decision making

Qualifications

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in operations or a business-related role, preferably within the ride-hailing or delivery industries
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop strategic recommendations
  • Experience managing driver supply, fleet operations, or external partnerships
  • Proven ability to break down complex business challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver measurable results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment with cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in Excel is required for analyzing trends and producing clear reports; knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Experience in business development and identifying new growth opportunities within the mobility ecosystem
  • Hands-on approach with comfort working in the field, especially for offline recruitment initiatives
  • Open to travel up to 20 percent within the country to support local operations and expansion
  • English proficiency is a must.
