- Define and execute the product roadmap for ad monetization, ensuring a balance between revenue generation and UX
- Prioritize ad formats (e.g., banner, interstitial, rewarded, native ads) based on user experience and revenue potential
- Evaluate ad mediation strategies, ensuring optimal ad inventory fill rates and maximizing ad revenue
- Work closely with AdTech and Data Science to design and optimize ad placements, targeting, and segmentation
Demonstrate entrepreneurial acumen, full ownership in ad products, and creative thinking
Ad integration and optimization:
- Oversee the technical integration of advertising SDKs (Google Ad Manager, custom ad networks, direct deals)
- Work with the AdTech and Engineering teams to optimize ad load times, caching, and bidding efficiency
Implement A/B testing for different ad formats, placements, and targeting strategies to improve performance
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with AdTech, Engineering, UX/UI, and Marketing teams to implement ad solutions that enhance monetization without disrupting user experience
- Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and local data protection laws
Align with Sales and Business Development to enable direct brand partnerships and programmatic ad sales
Performance and analytics:
- Track key ad performance metrics (eCPM, fill rate, retention impact, user engagement) and continuously optimize ad experience
- Leverage data science models for targeting, user segmentation, and predictive ad revenue forecasting
- Work with BI and Data Analysts to generate reports for ongoing optimizations and revenue projections
