Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategic design, execution and scaling of geo-focused initiatives, driving systemic change and business value, aligning with Drive’s global strategy.
  • Supervises and coordinates the work of cross-functional team members.
  • Forges and develops relationships with our current and potential partners.
  • Performs quality and performance monitoring of the project.

Key focuses for 2025-2026

  • Launching and scaling new initiatives in our focus countries: Kazakhstan, Egypt, Pakistan, Morocco etc.
  • Gathering and analyzing business needs and the target audience needs.

Scope of work

  • Project Management and Development
  • Strategically design, execute, and scale geo-focused initiatives driving systemic change, aligning with Drive’s global strategy
  • Design scalability models from the outset to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Assess systemic factors and social challenges affecting our target audience and convert insights into a strategy.
  • Requesting and assessing relevant research for effective project concept definitions.
  • Responsible for the definition of project goals and main stages, including planning for resources, costs, schedules, and risk management.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper project governance for swift decision-making.
  • Supervises and coordinates the work of cross-functional team members.
  • Implements projects in accordance with the agreed and approved work plan.
  • Initiates, creates, and maintains internal/external project documentation in project and reporting documentation formats.
  • Ensures that projects are completed within agreed deadlines, within the allocated budget and with the required level of quality.

    Resource Management

  • Manages allocation of project budget and cross-functional teams based on priorities and schedules.

    Quality and Performance Monitoring

  • Performs quality and performance monitoring of the project.
  • Together with our Research team, manage the project’s workflow, feedback and analyze its effectiveness, overseeing the progress, quality, and timing of work/services provided.

    Stakeholder Management and Partnerships

  • Facilitate alignment across business units by actively negotiating win–win outcomes with product, marketing, operations, legal, and tech teams.
  • Build internal coalitions by demonstrating how impact projects drive business value, strengthen employer brand and public image.
  • Translate social impact objectives into actionable roadmaps for tech and business teams.
  • Forges and develops relationships with our current and potential external partners.
  • Forms and coordinates interim results, final reports, and prepares presentations and reports for stakeholders.

    Issue and Risk Management

  • Facilitates the evaluation and management of project risks, internal and external.
  • Responsible for addressing assumptions and limitations of the project, handling changes, and managing expectations.

    Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure social projects comply with sustainable impact goals.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in social impact, sustainability, partnerships and community engagement.

Qualifications

Candidate profile:

  • Senior project manager with 3–4 years of experience (preferably in the digital sector)
  • English – full professional proficiency
  • Social impact-related experience is a big plus
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Assertive and quick worker
  • Good knowledge of most common tech tools: google, JIRA, miro etc.
  • Knowledge of main analytics and product development principles
  • Understanding of basic digital marketing principles
