Regional HR Manager

Hybrid - Senior

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Regional HR Manager to lead and deliver operational HR excellence across multiple countries in MENA. This role will oversee all core HR operations — from onboarding to offboarding — as well as payroll, local labor compliance, and vendor management, while directly managing a small local team. The ideal candidate brings international company experience, thrives in matrix environments, and has a proactive and assertive communication style.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage full-cycle HR operations across multiple countries in the region (hire-to-retire).
  • Supervise payroll, compliance, and vendor coordination, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead a team of 2+ HR professionals, setting clear goals and priorities.
  • Ensure operational excellence in onboarding, employee lifecycle management etc.
  • Track employee sentiment and complaints, providing regular updates to P&C and local leadership.
  • Maintain smooth collaboration with finance and legal teams on payroll, contracts, and invoicing.
  • Monitor regional HR KPIs and ensure timely reporting.
  • Implement local and global HR initiatives, suggesting improvements in HR processes and engagement.
  • Maintain awareness of labor legislation (including union-related issues) and support compliance.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for business leaders, ensuring transparent and timely communication.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR operations, payroll, and compliance.
  • Proven experience working in international companies with matrix reporting structures.
  • Solid track record managing vendors and supporting multiple locations.
  • Experience dealing with labor legislation, payroll processes, and cross-border HR tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively implement or improve HR processes and engagement practices.
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assertive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Based in Cairo, Egypt.
