Senior Economist

Hybrid - Senior

We’re looking for a skilled and curious Senior Economist to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll help us strengthen financial visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, and make smarter, data-driven decisions across the company. You’ll work closely with different teams, manage financial planning cycles, and look for ways to optimize costs and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and consolidate financial data for analysis and planning
  • Prepare inputs for budgeting, forecasts, and variance reviews
  • Allocate and validate forecast and actual data across business units
  • Support monthly and ad-hoc financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Improve tools, dashboards, and processes within the Central Budget Panel
  • Monitor and adjust inputs to keep financial data aligned and complete
  • Lead or take part in budgeting sessions and alignment meetings with project teams
  • Build and maintain analytical databases for scenario planning and deeper financial insights
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on expense optimization
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to support management decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification (CFA, CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related areas
  • Proven background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Confident with financial modeling and data analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with tools like Oracle, 1C, or similar systems
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation methods
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving attitude
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain financial topics to non-financial audiences
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
