Responsibilities
- Own the order flow. You will be responsible for the entire driver experience from the moment an order appears on the screen to its acceptance. This includes the UI, the negotiation logic, and the information presented to the driver.
- Dive into driver behavior. You’ll analyze data to understand why drivers accept or ignore certain orders. What information is critical for their decision? How can we reduce their cognitive load?
- Design and test hypotheses. You will constantly experiment with the negotiation interface and logic to improve key metrics. Small changes here have a massive impact on the entire system.
- Define and grow key metrics. Your success will be measured by the growth of driver acceptance rate, driver utilization, and the number of completed orders per driver.
- Collaborate closely. You’ll work daily with engineers, designers, data analysts, and regional managers to build and launch product improvements.
- Develop a long-term strategy. You will create and own the roadmap for the order acceptance and negotiation mechanics, balancing driver needs with the health of the marketplace.
Why this role is a unique challenge
- It’s about psychology, not just clicks. You’ll be designing a system that balances the economic and psychological needs of drivers and passengers in real-time.
- You own a core marketplace mechanic. This isn’t a peripheral feature. The success of inDrive’s business model directly depends on how well this flow works.
- Scale and immediate impact. Your work will be used by millions of drivers daily, and you’ll see the results of your experiments in the data almost instantly.
Qualifications
- Product Experience: 4+ years in product management, preferably with a marketplace or a mobile app that has a complex user flow.

- Marketplace & Pricing Intuition: Experience with dynamic pricing, marketplace efficiency, or two-sided platforms will be a major plus.

- Strategic Thinking: You can see beyond the next A/B test and build a long-term roadmap that aligns with the company’s goals.
- Clear Communication: You can explain complex ideas simply and clearly to engineers, designers, and executives.
