We are looking for an experienced Commercial Law Manager to strengthen our global legal function and drive excellence in commercial contracting. In this role, you will lead HQ-level contract governance, oversee complex and high-risk agreements, and develop best-practice tools for legal teams worldwide. You will shape contractual frameworks for new business initiatives, guide cross-border projects, and collaborate with experts across IP, Data Protection, and Compliance. This position requires a seasoned commercial lawyer with strong international experience, advanced contract drafting skills, and the ability to balance risk management with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and further improve the contract review process at the HQ level, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and risk based decision making.
  • Review and advise on complex, high risk, and strategically important commercial agreements. Identify material legal and commercial risks and coordinate with subject matter experts (IP, Data Protection, Compliance) where needed.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and review checklists for use by HQ lawyers and regional teams.
  • Support global and cross border business initiatives by structuring contractual frameworks for new projects and commercial tests.
  • Lead and coordinate special legal projects, collaborating closely with cross functional teams and departments.

Qualifications

  • More than 8 years of experience in commercial and contract law.
  • Experience working in international companies; background in the ride hailing or IT sector is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in drafting and reviewing complex B2B agreements and partnership structures.
  • Ability to maintain a risk oriented approach while addressing business needs.
  • Experience in establishing or optimizing contract processes and workflows.
  • Experience working with CLM systems.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills; ability to guide less senior lawyers and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a readiness to be hands on when needed.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).
