Fifteen years ago, if you’d told me I’d end up leading international recruitment teams instead of writing code, I probably would’ve laughed. I studied information technology, but life, as it often does, had other plans.
My first experience in recruitment happened almost by accident. I started in an agency as a talent sourcer, and within weeks, I was hooked. There was something deeply satisfying about connecting people to opportunities that could change their lives.
Joining inDrive
When I first heard about inDrive, something clicked. A company built to challenge injustice and make life fairer for people around the world? That spoke to me on a personal level. After years of helping others find meaningful work, I wanted to join a company doing the same, but on a global scale. And I wasn’t wrong.
From my very first interview, I could feel the difference. The conversations weren’t just about my experience. They were about purpose, impact, and people. I remember thinking: These are my kind of people.
Today, as Recruitment Team Lead for EMEA and APAC, I’m proud to work for a company where fairness is a guiding principle.
Understanding inDrive’s hiring philosophy
At inDrive, recruitment isn’t just about matching skills to roles. It’s about finding people who connect with our purpose. Our recruiters know exactly why the position exists and how it contributes to the bigger mission. That allows us to have meaningful conversations with candidates.
I’m a big believer that recruitment is about experience. Recruiters are the face of the company, and we’re often the first point of contact with the external world. That means every interaction counts. Whether a candidate joins us or not, their impression of inDrive starts with us.
When candidates feel seen, respected, and receive thoughtful feedback, they’re more likely to recommend inDrive. And that kind of reputation is stronger than any marketing campaign.
Culture fit plays a big role too. Beyond technical skills, we assess soft skills, motivation, and values to make sure candidates align with our mission to challenge injustice and improve lives.
My inner drive
What keeps me motivated after all these years? Honestly, the people. Every offer letter, every new teammate joining, every “thank you” message from someone who found their place, it all matters. Recruitment is one of those rare professions where you get to see the impact of your work almost immediately. You’re changing someone’s story, sometimes even their life.
I’ve always said that the best part of my job is watching growth happen. It can be the candidate who lands their dream role, the team that finally clicks, the recruiter who learns to trust their instincts. Those moments remind me why this work matters.
And then, there’s my team. Watching them grow into confident, thoughtful professionals is the ultimate reward. As a leader, my goal is to create an environment where my team can do their best work and feel proud of it.
For anyone thinking about applying to inDrive, my advice is simple: Be yourself. Be curious. Do your homework. But most importantly, look for a place where you can grow, not just work. For me, that place turned out to be inDrive.
