A detail-oriented Senior General Ledger Accountant to manage month-end closing, ensure accurate financial records, and support audits. You will coordinate with accounting service providers, review transactions, and collaborate across departments to maintain compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with month-end closing and review monthly management accounts.
  • Control and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Coordinate work with accounting service providers.
  • Support statutory group and local financial statement audits.
  • Review and approve contracts and invoices for tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on financial and operational matters.
  • Assist the Financial Controller on ad hoc accounting and operational issues.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


  • ACA/ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification with 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of Cyprus accounting and taxation system.
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong team player, adaptable to fast-paced environments and deadlines.
