We’re looking for an experienced AML Compliance Manager who will take ownership of our global AML/CTF framework and help ensure that our operations remain safe, compliant, and resilient across ~47 countries. This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic oversight: from designing policies and risk matrices to working with regulators, running investigations, and collaborating across teams to keep our compliance standards strong and scalable.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining AML/CTF and sanctions compliance programs and policies, including a global risk matrix (covering approximately 47 countries).
Conducting AML/CTF and sanctions risk assessments, and designing, implementing, and automating risk-based AML/CTF and sanctions controls within the Company’s systems, including the development and recommendation of appropriate risk mitigation measures.
Interacting with regulatory authorities and participating in inspections and audits related to the Company’s compliance with AML/CTF legislation.
Conducting KYC/CDD/EDD reviews, including sanctions screening of clients, partners, vendors.
Conducting AML/CTF and sanctions risk assessments for new business launches (markets or products).
Conducting legal research on AML/CFT and sanctions legislation across relevant jurisdictions.
Maintaining and regularly updating lists of high-risk countries and monitoring related legal, regulatory, and geopolitical developments.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Audit, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance, AML/CFT, Financial Crime, or Regulatory Risk roles.
Strong understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions frameworks, including: FATF Recommendations, EU AML Directives, US, UK, EU and UN sanctions regimes.
Professional certifications are a strong advantage (e.g., ACAMS, ICA Diploma in AML/Financial Crime/Compliance).
Experience using OSINT techniques and tools to support KYC/CDD/EDD, investigations, and risk assessments.
Practical knowledge of sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and related investigations.
Experience in implementing AML/CTF risk assessment and control frameworks, including analysis of applicable legislation, regulatory requirements & risk mitigation measures.
Sound knowledge of general compliance, including corruption, conflict of interests, related party transactions, compliance risk assessment, KYC, etc.
Familiarity with screening tools such as Refinitiv World Check, Dow Jones, LexisNexis, ComplyAdvantage, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
Advanced English command.
