We’re looking for a detail-oriented Equity Analyst to support and evolve our equity compensation program. This role combines hands-on equity administration with analytics, modelling, and close partnership with Finance, Legal, and HR. You’ll be responsible for data accuracy, compliance, and turning equity data into insights that support compensation and planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the equity platform (Carta), ensuring cap table accurac
  • Process equity transactions including grants, exercises, transfers, repurchases, RSUs, and refresh grants
  • Support equity-related events and transactions in partnership with Legal and Finance
  • Ensure compliance with 409A valuations, board approvals, audits, and ISO/NQSO requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on vesting, exercises, and equity statements
  • Reconcile equity data across HRIS, payroll, accounting, and equity systems
  • Prepare equity reports for executives, auditors, board meetings, and investor requests
  • Perform equity analytics including grant sizing analysis, dilution modelling, and benchmarking
  • Support equity compensation budgeting and forecasting, including share pool planning and burn rate analysis
  • Build and maintain Excel models for equity analysis, reconciliations, and scenario modelling
  • Translate complex equity and financial data into clear insights for Finance, HR, and leadership
  • Improve equity-related processes, documentation, and reporting to support scale and audit readiness
  • Support equity platform vendor selection, implementation, or system migrations when needed
  • Automate recurring equity analyses and reports where possible

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 3–6 years of experience in equity administration, equity analytics, stock plan management, or compensation / total rewards
  • Hands-on experience with Carta or similar equity platforms (Shareworks, Eqvista, Pulley, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of stock options, RSUs, cap tables, dilution, and 409A valuations
  • Solid knowledge of US equity regulations (ISO/NQSO, Rule 701, Forms 3921/3922)
  • Proven analytical skills and advanced Excel modelling experience
  • Experience reconciling data across multiple systems (HRIS, payroll, accounting, equity platforms)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain complex equity topics to non-expert stakeholders
  • Experience with international or cross-border equity programs
  • Exposure to startup or venture-backed environment
  • CEP certification (completed or in progress)
