The Senior Financial Specialist will support of the inDrive Money Cashless & Wallet project by assisting in the setup and improvement of financial procedures. This includes establishing reconciliation processes, developing reporting frameworks, and ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations for the new product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end financial processes, reconciliations, and reporting for new Cashless and Wallet initiatives
  • Design, build, and continuously optimize reconciliation processes between internal platforms and external payment providers to ensure accurate balances, operational continuity, and scalability.
  • Lead monthly reconciliations and settlements with payment providers, including discrepancy investigation, balance validation, and timely settlement of invoices.
  • Serve as the key finance partner for new product launches, translating complex Cashless & Wallet flows into clear financial logic for Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, and Reporting teams, and explaining impacts on consolidated financials.
  • Support month-end close by partnering with Accounting and Reporting teams, providing transaction flow explanations, balance breakdowns, and guidance on accounting treatment and journal entry logic.
  • Establish and maintain audit-ready documentation of processes, assumptions, and controls; support audits and internal control reviews for new products.
  • Work directly with payment providers and external partners to resolve issues, improve settlement and reconciliation processes, and support operational scale.
  • Assist in budget reviews for the project cost center and prepare financial data for reporting to the FP&A team.
  • Collaborate with product and analytics teams to enhance procedures, strengthen internal controls, and support product scaling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch of projects in new countries.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar qualification completed or near completion.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial roles, with a background in fintech, banking, payment providers, or cash loan industries preferred.
  • Big 4 experience is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite and data analysis, including handling large datasets and reconciling complex data.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with SQL is a plus, especially for automating reconciliations or performing data analysis.
