We are a global ride-hailing group investing in and operating dark stores worldwide (majority stakes) while preparing for an IPO and reporting under US GAAP. You will be the finance owner for rigorous control of these investments: validating financial models, ensuring integrity of revenue and EBITDA reporting, driving reconciliations, and building analyses that increase Revenue, EBITDA, and multi-vertical user adoption inside our SuperApp across Pakistan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.

Responsibilities

Model review & challenge

  • Rebuild/validate key tabs of operating and investment models; run sensitivity/scenario analyses (pricing, promo, assortment, capacity, FX).
  • Maintain model-to-actuals reconciliation and variance bridges (to Revenue, EBITDA).

Revenue & EBITDA integrity

  • Own monthly variance analysis (Plan/Forecast vs Actuals) with clear drivers (price/mix/volume/promo/FX/opex).
  • Validate promo/discount mechanics and their EBITDA impact; ROI analysis of growth initiatives.

SuperApp multi-vertical analytics

  • Track cross-vertical adoption, cohorts, and retention; quantify cross-sell uplift and cannibalization.
  • Build KPI views tying user behavior to revenue and contribution margin.

Reporting & close support (US GAAP context)

  • Prepare management packs (flash, MOM trend, bridges), input to board materials.
  • Support consolidation analytics (IC variances, NCI, FX analytics) and audit requests (Big Four on demand).

Inventory & COGS checks (Dark Stores)

  • Reconcile WMS/OMS to ERP/GL; monitor shrink/spoilage, LCM write-downs, stock turns; ensure COGS integrity.

Controls & data quality

  • Document data lineage from source systems to reporting; implement “SOX-lite” checks pre-IPO.
  • Design repeatable reconciliation routines (payments ↔ orders ↔ bank ↔ GL).

Ad-hoc decision support

  • Pricing/promotions tests, assortment productivity, last-mile unit economics, working capital (DSO/DPO/DIO), FX exposure.

Qualifications

  • 4–7+ years in Investments Finance / FP&A / Transaction Services / Audit or similar (e-com/q-com/retail/logistics preferred).
  • Solid exposure to US GAAP in a multi-entity/multi-currency environment; IPO/audit experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; strong financial modeling. Practical SQL for validations is a plus.
  • Experience with BI (Power BI/Tableau/Looker/BigQuery/Snowflake) and comfort reconciling operational data to GL.
  • Clear, structured communicator; ownership mindset; fluent English (Russian is a plus).
