We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Country Driver Operations Team Leader to oversee and optimize our driver network and operations across Egypt. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our operations, while driving continuous improvement in performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy: Design and implement strategies to attract, activate, and retain drivers through effective acquisition channels, tools, and team management.
  • Analyze Regional and Market Trends: Use reporting tools given as well as study socio-economic landscapes and user behavior across specific regions, countries, and cities to inform strategies.
  • Manage Recruitment Budgets and KPIs: Plan and oversee recruitment budgets while ensuring alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Multi-Factor Market Research: Perform immersive studies of new countries or cities, assessing socio-economic conditions through in-depth interviews with users and stakeholders. Supervise and ensure accuracy in research conducted across regions to drive actionable insights. Conduct interviews and focus groups, form actionable conclusions, and leverage findings to improve products and services.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Evaluate competitors in targeted regions, countries, and cities to identify market gaps and opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional cooperation: Build strong, collaborative relationships with other departments to achieve exceptional results – business development, marketing, marketplace efficiency and other
  • Excelent people management: Ensure transparent target set up as well as performance tracking; each team member to have personalised development plan

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of team management experience, with the solid track record
  • An understanding of the ride-hailing industry, particularly in Egypt
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on insights
  • Hands-on experience managing projects throughout their full lifecycle
  • Familiarity with a variety of marketing tools.
  • Advanced English skills (B2+ level or higher)
  • Willingness to travel
