This role leads the development and updating of the company’s corporate strategy, ensuring its effective translation and execution within the business’s operational model. A key function of this role is to unify and elevate the quality of strategic planning across the entire organization. This involves not only creating a cohesive corporate strategy but also actively stepping into the divisions’ strategy development processes where there are capability gaps. The role holder and their team must be able to both shape and, when necessary, directly co-create divisional strategies to ensure they are robust and tightly linked to the overall corporate direction. The position also supports the President with strategic investor communications and organizational design initiatives.

While Cyprus is the preferred location, we provide a relocation package to support candidates moving there and remain open to discussing other locations.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Strategy Development and Alignment

    • Lead the development and regular updates of the long-term corporate strategy.
    • Ensure alignment and consistency of all corporate, business, and functional strategies across the company.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities to formulate strategic alternatives.
    • Prepare and present strategic materials for the Management Board and shareholders.
  • Business and Functional Strategies Counsel and Support

    • Serve as a center of excellence, providing strategic counsel and support to business and functional leaders during strategy development.
    • Partner with divisional leaders to shape their strategies, ensuring tight linkage with corporate goals.
    • Directly intervene and co-create divisional strategies in cases of capability gaps, ensuring high-quality and consistent outcomes.
  • Strategy Execution and Operational Alignment

    • Translate corporate strategy into the operational model by aligning key business processes and resource allocation.
    • Partner with the PMO to oversee the portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with priorities and progress monitoring, while the PMO owns delivery.
  • Organizational Design and Transformation (with People & Culture)

    • Develop organizational design principles to ensure the structure supports strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with People & Culture to align organizational structure with talent strategy and core competencies.
  • Strategic Events and Investor Relations Support

    • Plan, organize, and facilitate strategic sessions and workshops for top management and key teams.
    • Support the President in preparing materials, analytics, and strategic narratives for investor meetings and communications.

Qualifications

  • Experience

    • Minimum 5 years in corporate strategy, strategic consulting, or business development.
    • Minimum 3 years in a management role, including experience leading a team of 3–5 people.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing corporate strategies in technology or high-growth companies.
    • Experience in organizational design and transformation projects (highly desirable).
    • Exposure to investor relations activities (a plus).
  • Education

    • Higher education in Economics, Finance, or Management.
    • MBA or equivalent is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge & Skills

    • Deep knowledge and practical application of strategic frameworks (SWOT, PESTEL, etc.).
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and business case evaluation.
    • Strong understanding of organizational design principles and methodologies.
    • Proficiency in complex project management methodologies.
    • Advanced analytical, strategic, and systemic thinking.
    • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
