As Head of Market Operations PMO, you will own the program management, operational governance, and execution excellence across Ride-Hailing Market Operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that strategic and cross-functional initiatives are delivered on time, at scale, and with measurable business impact across multiple markets.
You will act as the central orchestration layer between Market Operations, Product, Tech, Data, Finance, Legal, and Regional teams — translating strategy into executable programs, aligning priorities, managing dependencies, and driving operational discipline in a highly complex, fast-growing environment.
This is a senior leadership role combining strategic planning, hands-on execution, and stakeholder influence, with a strong focus on scalability, efficiency, and operational performance across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Market Operations PMO Leadership
  • Own and evolve the PMO function for Ride-Hailing Market Operations, including frameworks, governance, and execution standards.
  • Define and manage portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across markets.
  • Establish clear operating rhythms (planning cycles, reviews, reporting, escalation mechanisms).
Strategic Program Management
  • Drive execution of high-impact, cross-market programs (e.g. operational efficiency, market launches, regulatory initiatives, cost optimization, quality improvements).
  • Translate company and Ride-Hailing strategy into clear roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables for Market Operations.
  • Ensure strong dependency management across Product, Engineering, Ops, and Regional teams.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as a key interface between Market Operations and central functions (Product, Tech, Analytics, Finance, Legal, Risk, Trust & Safety).
  • Align global standards with local market realities, ensuring consistency without limiting local flexibility.
  • Proactively surface risks, trade-offs, and execution bottlenecks to senior leadership.
Performance Management & Insights
  • Define and track operational KPIs and program success metrics across markets.
  • Build executive-level reporting and dashboards to provide transparency on progress, risks, and impact.
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve execution quality and decision-making.
Scalability & Operational Excellence
  • Design scalable processes and playbooks that support rapid market growth and operational complexity.
  • Drive standardization where it adds value, while enabling local adaptation for different regulatory and market contexts.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Market Operations.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing PMO team.
  • Set a high bar for ownership, accountability, and delivery excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to Market Operations leadership.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, operations, consulting, or strategy roles in tech, mobility, marketplace, or platform businesses.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs across multiple markets or regions.
  • Strong background in operations-heavy environments (ride-hailing, logistics, marketplaces, on-demand services preferred).
Execution & PMO Expertise
  • Deep understanding of PMO best practices, portfolio management, and execution frameworks.
  • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
Stakeholder Management
  • Exceptional ability to influence without authority across senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.
  • Strong communication skills, including executive-level presentations and decision memos.
Analytical & Data-Driven
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define, track, and interpret operational metrics.
  • Experience working closely with data and analytics teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Ride-Hailing, Mobility, or Marketplace Operations
  • Background in consulting or transformation programs is a plus
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
