We are looking for an HR Specialist based in Thailand to work with countries in the APAC region. The employee will be managing Thailand operations as well as managing two other country operations remotely. Administer HR policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. Promote equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws;
Manage full employee life cycle including onboarding, orientation, compensation benefits, employee relations, off-boarding, and HR admin works;
HR admin issues (setting up employee files, completing standard forms letters, and maintaining reports and records), maintaining additional agreements, and keeping personal folders in an accurate way;
Develop and maintain knowledge of one or more of the following disciplines: Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, EH&S, Leave, Internships, and Wellness;
Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Issue necessary agreements, policies, and instructions;
Maintain regular communication with external service providers (worldwide).
Address and resolve provider inquiries in a timely manner.
Coordinate payment processes, including handling invoices and working with providers, PNC, Technology and the finance team.
Ensure timely and accurate payment completion and maintain organised financial records.
Update information for new hires and maintaining databases up to date.
Maintain spreadsheets on new hires and confirm budget alignment with CNB and HRBP.
Create tickets for newcomers from outsourcing companies.
Liaise with hiring managers to facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees.
Qualifications
English speaker, advanced level as a must;
3-4 years experience as an HR specialist;
Experience with HR matters and employment regulations will be advantageous;
B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
Good knowledge of Labor law;
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data;
Strong organisational and filing skills;
Knowledge of current regulations, payroll statements, and social security payments;
Knowledge or prior experience in managing company audits from local statutory and government bodies;
An expert user of the internet with strong tech capabilities is essential;
Good communication and Influencing skills;
Able to work with minimum supervision;
Adaptable and eager to learn.
Must be able to manage composure at all times due to stress of handling multiple regions and tasks.
