Identifies and attracts quality talent for open positions and longer range succession and business needs.
An Leadership Talent Scout (aka executive talent scout) actively identifying and attracting top tier professionals for senior leadership positions by conducting market research, building extensive candidate pipelines, and fostering relationships with potential hires.
Key responsibilities include initiating candidate contact, assessing skills and cultural fit through interviews, and partnering with executive recruiters to meet business objectives.
Strong networking, research, communication, and a keen eye for assessing talent and potential are essential skills for this role.
Talent Research Identification: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential executive candidates, including market mapping and talent intelligence gathering.
Sourcing Outreach: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to proactively find and attract both active and passive candidates for niche roles.
Candidate Engagement: Initiate first round contact with potential candidates, building trust and effectively communicating the opportunity.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HR business partners, and industry referral sources.
Pipeline Management: Assemble and maintain pipelines of high caliber talent for current and future executive needs.
Assessment: Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit for senior leadership positions.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of candidate information in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant folders.
Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with executive recruiters and HR to develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals.
Champion DEI: Proactively identify and attract diverse talent to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, according to Lonza.
