The Product Manager will ensure the growth and value of educational products through strategic portfolio management, continuous analysis, and systematic implementation of new solutions based on data, research, and experimentation.
This role is crucial in driving the mission of challenging injustice and using education as an instrument for social upliftment, which is core to the values of inDrive.

Responsibilities

Analytics and Metrics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for key product metrics in Tableau, Power BI, Yandex DataLens.
  • Interpret data and identify growth opportunities based on analytics.

Product Management

  • Scale educational products: drive revenue growth, improve retention, and enhance landing page conversion.
  • Maintain and evolve product hypotheses and manage features and improvements.
  • Discovery Processes and Growth Conducted customer development interviews and corridor interviews and analysed customer data.
  • Generate, prioritise, and launch growth hypotheses.
  • Conduct A/B tests and experiments to increase product value.

Launch of New Products

  • Market research, competitor analysis, and target audience insights.
  • Conduct in depth interviews with experts and potential users. Develop product concepts, test demand, value, and MVP.
  • Model business models and distribution channels.

Team Management

  • Coordinate cross functional teams (methodologists, producers, support teams, etc.).
  • Build a sustainable workflow system where the team works autonomously with periodic involvement from the product manager.
  • Coordination with Related Functions Collaborate with development, operations, legal, support teams, and other stakeholders.

Strategic Development

  • Identify new growth opportunities for the product portfolio based on external trends and the environment.
  • Continuous competitive analysis and monitoring of insider information in the industry.

Product Growth and Key Metrics

  • Manage current products and drive growth in key metrics (Bookings, Revenue, finCR, Completion Rate, Subscription to Payment Conversion) while reducing churn.
  • Own P&L and ensure the economic health of the products.

Backlog and Hypothesis Management

  • Manage the product backlog, restructure hypothesis validation, and speed up product changes to maximise value for both the business and students, aligned with business goals.

Product Experimentation

  • Experiment with products to increase value for students, the market, industry, and employers.

Qualifications

  • Product management experience, with at least 2–3 years in educational or learning products.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital products at scale.
  • Strong user research, data analysis, and product strategy skills.
  • Experience working with Agile or Lean methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), assessment tools, or adaptive learning platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in education, product management, or business is a plus.
  • Background in education, instructional design, cognitive science, or related fields.
  • Experience with data driven product development (A/B testing, learner analytics).
  • Experience working in startups or fast paced environments.
  • Understanding of equity and inclusion in education.
