We are looking for a Senior Payment Fraud Analyst to strengthen our defenses against fraudulent activity across the entire business. In this role, you will proactively identify and assess both internal and external fraud risks impacting payments, transactions, marketing, and budget management. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to detect known and emerging fraud patterns, quantify potential losses, and design protective measures that safeguard revenue and ensure business integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Fraud protection: Actively safeguard the company from all types of payment fraud that may result in chargebacks or unauthorized asset withdrawals.
  • Risk mitigation: Identify and mitigate payment fraud risks across all relevant areas of the business (e.g. passenger payments, driver top-ups, fund withdrawals).
  • Research & analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze transactions to detect known and emerging fraud patterns.
  • Measurement: Assess the impact of transactional fraud risks and track key metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Solution development: Design and implement effective fraud prevention and detection strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Law, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills for data research and analysis
  • Proficiency in Python or R for automation and analytics is a strong plus
  • Experience in data visualization and storytelling
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of payment systems (e.g. Visa/Mastercard) and their regulations
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
